TELTEK, in cooperation with CESGA (Galicia Supercomputing Center)  has achieved partnership in a large EU funded project called Fed4FIRE. One of the main project objectives is to provide experimentation facilities to SMEs so they can test and evaluate new products and services for worldwide users, before investing on infrastructure on their own. Teltek’s proposal is focused on anOpencast-Matterhorn based experiment. This experiment aims to achieve two major goals: to optimize the integration of its proposed ecosystem, comprised of Opencast-Matterhorn as the core engine, Galicaster as the platform’s capture agent and PuMuKIT as the media portal and content video delivery engine in the global-cloud testbed provided by the project and to evaluate the perceived user experience from institutions and students, ingesting and accessing contents from anywhere in the world. The experiments will count on CESGA’s background on cloud and storage solutions to tune the experiments performance.

The outcome of this experiments will allow TELTEK to optimize and empower dramatically it’s cloud-hosted Video Solution based on OC-Matterhon and PuMuKIT.

Several prestigious Universities and private companies are the partners of the Fed4FIRE project. On the following link you will find more information about the project and the complete list of partners.
